Small Animal Rescue
Over the past few years, we have noticed an increase in animal dumping in our community. More and more small animals are being left outside to fend for themselves. Pets like parrakeets, guinea pigs, and rabbits are unable to care for themselves outside, and, unfortunately, there are not many local rescues that will take these animals or help trap them.
While we are NOT expert animal catchers, we have experience capturing small animals that have been left outside before. You are welcome to reach out to us, and we can try to catch a small animal that is loose in your neighborhood. We can then take in the animal temporarily and care for it. We volunteer with a rescue and can reach out to to them for support in fostering/finding a permanent home. We vet check all applicants and ask for references before placing any animals.

There is no cost for this service. Please just reach out to us with as much information as possible.
Latest Rescue

Hi! We are Dart (black) and Dash (brown/white), a bonded female pair of young guinea pigs. We were rescued from a backyard where we had been dumped by our owners in the summer heat. Luckily we were vet checked and are both doing well! We are estimated to be young—under a year old. We LOVE hay, pellets, and veggies and will wheek for them loudly if we see or hear you. Melanie and Matt decided to keep us! We have a LARGE cage and are very spoiled!
We currently are not fostering any animals. When we do, we work with Noah's Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary (NARPS) to help them find their forever homes. We also routinely collect donations of all kinds: food (including open bags), new toys, new litter boxes, pee pads, pet diapers, pet medications (can be opened/used), new beds and pet carriers, and gently used crates. If you have something you'd like to donate, please get in touch with us. You can also donate directly to NARPS.
