Dog Care

We provide different types of care for dogs. When reaching out, please let us know what type of care you are looking for so that we can best respond to your inquiry.

Drop-In Visits

This is our most common type of dog care. We provide drop-in visits for dogs 3 times a day at breakfast, dinner, and late-night timeslots. We do not typically provide mid-day visits around noon, unless discussed in advance. We are normally working during that time.

We mainly provide this type of care for families on vacation, but will also do 1-day visits if a family is out for the day or working late.

Drop-in visits include feeding/treats, time outside (either in a backyard or short time on a leash), and lots of TLC.

Price: $15 per visit

Standalone Pooper Scooper Service: $20 per hour

Dog Walks

We offer half hour walks for dogs during breakfast and dinner-time visits, depending on the weather and outside temperature. We will sometimes offer mid-day walks during the summer and on weekends. Many people pair one walk a day with drop-in visits while they are away.

We do not offer daily dog walking services.

Price: $20 per half hour walk

Overnight Stays

We offer two types of overnight stays. Melanie is able to provide overnight stays where she is with the dogs for breakfast, dinner, and late night (same as our drop-in visits, but then stays overnight until breakfast the next day).

Matt works from home 3 days a week. On those days, he is able to provide overnight stays where he works out of the client's house and also provides time outside around noon.

We do not provide 24 hour stays and go in/out of the home at all times. Dogs may be left alone up to 8 hours, unless otherwise discussed.

Price: $60 per day

Please note: We are unable to transport dogs in our vehicles for things like doggy day care, as it is not covered by our insurance. If there is an emergency, we will of course bring your pet to their veterinarian.

Visit Information

We normally have multiple pets scheduled for visits back to back each day. We try to visit during the times listed below, but there may be days (such as holiday weeks) when we get off schedule and visit later than planned. We usually see pets in the following order: dogs, cats and small animals on medication, everyone else. We also see pets that are near one another before traveling to the next town. We do not specify an exact time for each visit or a specific visit length. If you have any concerns about visit timing or lengths, please contact us before booking services so we can ensure that we can best meet your needs.

Breakfast Visits

We typically see dogs for breakfast visits sometime between 6 am and 9:30 am. The breakfast visit time is relative to when the late-night visit was the night before.

Dinner Visits

We typically see dogs for dinner visits sometime between 4 and 7:30 pm. The dinner visit time is relative to when the breakfast visit was that morning.

Late-Night Visits

We typically see dogs for late-night visits sometime between 9:30 pm and midnight. The late-night visit time is relative to when the dinner visit was that day.

Please note that due to our work schedules, we are typically unable to accommodate mid-day (noon/lunchtime) walks. In the event we are available, we usually complete them between 11:30 am and 2 pm. When booking drop-in care, dogs are only scheduled for 3 visits (breakfast, dinner, and late-night) unless otherwise specified.
